On the occasion of International Labour Day, Udeshna A Jagreeti Manch successfully organized an Observance and Awareness Camp in collaboration with the Hojai District Legal Services Authority at its office premises in Bhalkumari, Hojai.
The program was conducted under the aegis of NALSA (Legal Services to Workers in the Unorganised Sector Schemes, 2015), with the objective of spreading awareness among workers about their legal rights, welfare schemes, and the importance of social security benefits.
Esteemed representatives from the District Legal Services Authority addressed the gathering and highlighted various legal provisions available for workers in the unorganised sector. The session focused on empowering labourers with knowledge about free legal aid services, government welfare schemes, and mechanisms to safeguard their rights.
The event witnessed active participation from community members and workers, reflecting a strong commitment towards social awareness and legal empowerment in the Hojai district.
