PRIMARY HEALTH SAVIOUR CAMP
Keeping in mind the primary health issues of the general mass a primary health check up camp was organised by Udeshna. There were doctors from various fields- homeopathy, allopathy & ayurveda. The program started with a yoga session by an experienced yoga trainer from Silchar who himself had survived a life threatening disease by practising yogasana. More than 1200 people did their primary health checkups and free medicines were distributed amongst them. Along with the camp, a seminar on health and hygiene was organised in the Udeshna office premises as an awareness programme which was attended by the students Lanka Mahavidyalaya and Bhalukmari H.S. School. Chalantika Chakraborty, student of Cotton College explained the facts of health and hygiene. Debaraj Dey, student of economics, LMV explained the different types of pollution. Local people and students highly appreciated the health camp and aspired to conduct more of such events for the welfare of the people.
